West Lothian Council's Active Schools & Community Sport team are delighted to announce the return of the Celebrating Sport Awards for 2019.

Following the successful 2018 event, this is an exciting opportunity to keep the local sporting community in the limelight and celebrate the outstanding efforts, successes and achievements of coaches, officials, athletes and volunteers.

The Purpose of the Awards

The purpose of the event is to celebrate sporting achievement within West Lothian, and nominations were invited from the public to identify amateur and professional sports persons or volunteers who have excelled in their chosen field of endeavour during 2018/19. This included coaches, competitors, administrators, helpers, teams, teachers, clubs and schools.
